Installation

Install ALL .prc files in the distribution:

eyemail.prc

PToolboxLib761.prc

Description:

Eye-Mail™ capitalizes on the bright, hi-contrast display of color Palm units to send easy-to-read scrolling billboard messages! Transflective screens like those on the Tungsten C and Zire 71 work well, as does the infamously bright screen of the ol' Palm IIIc. Eye-Mail™ will run on any Palm running OS 3.0 or greater.

With Eye-Mail™ You can send messages to:

a band member or fans at a loud club gig or arena concert!

another car's rear-view mirror (with the mirror function!)

friends in a restaurant or theatre who are sitting far away

a hottie in a loud dance club or across a bar

someone across a noisy construction site

a coworker during a boring meeting

...use your imagination!

Usage

1. Pump up the brightness to at least 50% on your Palm. If you don't have a color palm, tweak the contrast level for good viewing!

2. Enter a message to send and Press 'OK'.

Xtra Feature: If you exit Eye-Mail™ and come back again, your message will still be there so you won't have to retype it.

Xtra Feature: If you don't type a msg, the attractor will display indefinitely. (Use as a beacon!)

3. Aim the screen at the intended recipient of your message!

The attractor (flashing blocks) will grab their attention, then your message will start looping!

Xtra Feature: Press the scroll-down hardware button to mirror the image! (So the guy in the car in front of you can read your "Learn to drive!" message in his rear view mirror :) Press the scroll-up hardware button to reset the image (So you can still let him read while you pass beside him!).

Incompatibilities

Certain display-related system enhancements may cause PocketC/Eye-Mail to crash.

Known incompatible applications:

FocV (Japan) Palm Theme

Try disabling this and any other display-related enhancement apps if experiencing problems running Eye-Mail.
